What’s Different About Dyson
The Dyson Airwrap is without a doubt a luxury hair tool. For the complete set, it’s $549. I am a huge fan of their fans (air purifiers), cordless vacuums and now I am IN LOVE with the Dyson Airwrap! But is the Dyson Airwrap worth it?
Yes, the Dyson Airwrap is EXPENSIVE! However, Dyson spends millions of dollars on research and development of their products making the luxe price tag justifiable.
I really love that the Airwrap doesn’t use extreme heat. I am someone who prefers to air dry my hair to avoid using extreme heat. But, with the Dyson Airwrap, I save so much time being able to dry and style my hair at the same time. What would usually take me about two hours to do, now takes maybe 20 minutes! You can can even touch the barrel while it’s curling your hair because it’s not burning hot.
If you are someone who washes their hair frequently or has the need to style wet hair, this will be a game changer because you’ll be minimizing the heat you use and cutting down on styling time! I now own both the Dyson Airwrap and the Dyson blow dryer and I wouldn’t change a thing!
Using The Airwrap
There is a learning curve with the Dyson Airwrap. Pay close attention to the directions the arrows are pointing. My pro tip is don’t look straight at the arrows when you’re holding them. Hold them up in the mirror. You want the arrows to point away from your face as that is the direction the air will wrap your air. You want your curls to go away from your face, not toward it.
Once I get it near my roots, I change the setting to cool air to set the curls. Using a cool shot for about five seconds will really set your curls and help them hold all day!
