I started blogging in 2011 as a way to document my singing career and share cool, high street, and luxury fashion looks of mine. But as my life rapidly progressed, I found that I was so busy and lost any free time I had for my fun hobby. Fast forward years later, I’m now a mom of 2 beautiful boys, and I love sharing my life and my favorite things of my lifestyle which range from motherhood and family life, fashion, beauty, travel, cooking, home decor, business tips and so much more!
I get so many messages on Instagram about my lifestyle, luxury buys, kids, travel, cooking, business, etc. so I decided, it is the perfect time to pick up where I left off and start sharing amazing and fun content again that people want to see from me. I try to share as much as I can on my IG stories, but those disappear after 24 hours but a blog post is forever!
While I was and am excited to bring back the blog, I had to admit that I was scared! It was very easy to compare myself to other bloggers, how big they are and how hard it can be to grow a huge audience. I read some amazing blogs and thought, wow! BUT, I believe I have amazing and loyal friends and followers that always want to know and always ask more about my beauty, fashion and lifestyle content that I share on Instagram and that’s what brought me back to reality. I CAN DO THIS! If only 20 people read this blog and gain something, I will be satisfied!
If you’ve been wanting to start a blog or become a content creator and you’ve been afraid, I want you to throw that fear out of the window. You can’t succeed or fail if you don’t try! Blogging is still worth doing in 2020. Don’t let the idea of having competition scare you off. People often look at it as a bad thing, but it’s really not. Competition is a sign of profitability!
People still read blogs today and will most likely continue to read them for a long time. Identify your interest or passion and focus on that and become one with you niche.
